Every Person who, after a felony has been committed, harbors, conceals or aids a principal in such felony, with the intent that said principal may avoid or escape from arrest, trial, conviction or punishment having knowledge that said principal has committed such felony or has been charged with such felony or convicted thereof, is an accessory to such felony.

The Elements of the above offense are:
1. Defendant harbored, concealed, or aided a principal in a felony.
2. Defendant has knowledge that said principal had committed such felony or had been charged with such felony or convicted thereof.
3. The defendant's intent is that said principal may avoid or escape from arrest, trial, conviction or punishment.
The punishment for such crime is 16, 24, or 36 months in State Prison or with probation up to 1 year in county jail
