I was able to be qualified and sworn in as an expert witness regarding Gas Chromatography in Visalia, California.  While a majority of my practice is in Fresno, I have had the pleasure of practicing law in Tulare county as well.  The Judge agreed that I qualify as an expert witness and had the clerk swear me in to testify.  I answered questions from the Judge and prosecutor regarding the necessary discovery that must be given to the defense team by the prosecution team on a blood DUI case.  The topics include whether the laboratory, a member of the prosecution team, must provide the standard operating procedure of their testing practice.  I also testified that the importance of the separation matrix and lab practices.  It was a humble honor to be qualified as an expert and testify.
