Attorney Jonathan Rooker attended what was then Kings River Community College and now has been renamed Reedley Community College and lived in the dorms during a part of his tenure at the school that help build the educational foundation that is still continuing to grow.  

Having worked at the Iconic park and Irish Pub Kelly's Beach during his youth and continuing to eat there on a regular basis along with enjoying watersports such as floating and boating on the King River he understands that people like to have fun and stay cool during the hot summer months by taking a refreshing break in the cool waters of the Kings River.  He also undersands that along with the recreation that occurs in Reedley and college town atmoshpere there comes crime.  There are many DUI Citations issued during the three month recreation season between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends tends to bring many sunworshipers to the area.  Along with family outings, BBQ's, birthdays celebrated at the River's Willow Creek Park, boating, and floating comes alcohol and sometimes more.
