Double Homicide

Police were conducting a "welfare check" at a residence on Chestnut avenue just west of Fowler, when they discovered to homicide victims inside. The victims were found inside the home, one was male, the other was female.  What isn't in the article is whey the police were conducting a welfare check?  Obviously something or someone led them to arrive at the residence.  The names and ages of the victim have not yet been released.  While Fowler has a relatively low crime rate, it isn't immune to the reality of violent crime being present in the small Fresno County City located just off the Freeway 99 corridor.  As an attorney I can tell you I have always been interested in true crime, which is one reason I became a criminal defense attorney.  Many times what isn't in an article or press release is as  telling as what is in the article.  Here, the conclusion that it was a double homicide, rather than a Murder-Suicide may infer that there is more going on in this situation than we have been told.
