Madera Felony DUI With Injury Reported
A female driver is accused of causing a Felony DUI with Injury to another person when she swerved across highway 41 and struck another vehicle. A helicopter transported one victim to a Madera area hospital with serious injuries. The alleged driver of the other vehicle, who is accused of driving while under the influence of a alcohol with more than 0.08% blood alcohol content was also treated at the same hospital for her injuries.
Many negative consequences can come from a felony DUI, including loss of driving privilege for a period of time, or and indefinite period of time. Incarceration in a state prison, jail, electronic monitoring, and fines are other possible consequences of a criminal conviction for felony DUI.
