Selma DUI Accident:

Three Deaths From Alleged DUI Accident

Three lives have been lost due to an auto accident that police allege is a DUI related.  A southbound vehicle, and F-250 ran a stop sign, striking and F-150 which burst in to flames killing two Parlier men.  Tony Reyes 30 and Greg Cantu 36 died at the scene.

The driver of the F-250 was taken to a Fresno hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  The driver, Lewis Burris age 75 is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

A third vehicle, a Chevy Transverse was also struck but no injuries to the occupants were reported.

Of note, is the article does not allege a blood alcohol content or breath result, so we should keep an open mind as to the innocence of Mr. Burris, but the tragedy has occurred regardless of fault.  While I am the premiere Fresno area DUI Defense Attorney, I must remind everyone to stay safe during the holidays.  Lives change, families are destroyed and hearts are broken in the blink of an eye.
